I said I'd never do it and hell maybe it won't happen cause this is a lot of dough to ask in this rocky ole economy. But, here is the insanely illusive and rare Wandre Soloist in its most desirable 3 Davoli pickup configuration.
Its also sporting this beautiful bowling ball esque finish....I've never seen another Soloist in this particular finish. The pickup holding cradle has a couple of cracks but these are secure. This pickup holder was once buried in bondo and painted silver but the incredible and caring hands of sweet Joe Glaser saved it and restored to its current incredible state.
It plays perfectly and sounds incredible.
As you can see it was featured in a beautiful Nashville exhibit of rare and beautiful instruments from the US and a few from Europe.
The pics say it all really, there are no major cracks to the finish or body, its in pretty immaculate shape for its age and for a Wandre in general.

This is a stunningly beautiful and extremely rare Wandre Doris from the mid 1960's. Made in Italy. This guitar is all original with the possible exception of the knob (I'm not sure) and in quite nice shape overall. It comes with the original gigbag.

Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

All of our guitars come with a 48 hour approval period. The approval period is for the buyer to make sure that the guitar is in satisfactory condition and authentic. No returns will be accepted just because the buyer doesn’t like the way an instrument plays or sounds or other personal preferences. The buyer must notify us that they want to return the item within 48 hours of receiving the guitar. All returns must be approved by us. Upon safe return of the guitar we will refund the original purchase price minus a 5% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be waived if the original payment was made in cash, or by bank wire transfer. Shipping expenses will not be returned. All amplifiers and effects and other accessories are sold AS IS and no refunds will be issued.
